Although there are thousands of Ellas in the world, there is only one me.  What does Ella mean? A four letter word that holds many memories, emotions and secrets. Everyday I live, the word's meaning changes and evolves. A person's name reveals more than just how people get their attention. A name is your family, your past, your future, your thoughts, and your identity. When a person is born, they get a name. It may be made up by their parents, or it could be from their family from hundreds of years ago. Your name is just a word, but it is has a very complex meaning that no one may understand besides you. Earthquake Story

     An earthquake struck the San Francisco Bay area at 8:12 a.m. Monday morning. The earthquake caused a building on Plum St. collapsed and killed 2 people and injured 6.      The quake had a strong magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter scale and the epicenter was under the Hayward Hills.      "It was a strong one," s cientist from the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park, Penny Gertz said. "It occurred on the Hayward Fault, which runs under the hills."        Residents of the Bay area who were near the building could feel the movement of the ground when the quake hit. Hayward resident Mike Beamer, who lives across the street from the collapsed building felt a rolling motion fro about 30 seconds and a jolt in the middle of it.       " I was eating my breakfast when the room started rolling," Beamer said.      Around 10 p.m. Wednesday, in Barstow, California, a resident was involved in a gun accident. Janice Jones, 53, was in the back of her motorhome when her dog handgun onto the floor and it shot a bullet into her leg and the side of the vehicle.       Jones was eating pork chops in her motorhome parked on Beach Boulevard when her dog knocked her 9 mm handgun off a chair. The gun discharged when it hit the floor.         "It could have been worse,"  California Highway Patrol press liaison Tammy Rye said. "The bullet hit two inches from the gas tank."        Officers cited Jones for expired plates, and possible charges for owning a gun without a permit and animal abuse. Tombo was taken to the Huntington Beach animal control officers to be cared for after the incident.       " The dog seemed to be malnourished   and had fresh cigarette burns on its forehead," animal control officer Janet Ngo said. “It could have done with a little less abuse and a few m
